Amirabad Port is one of the strongest Caspian-side nodes in Iran’s trade network, positioned on Mazandaran’s eastern coast with relevance to Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and north–south transit logic. In the Hormuz Graph, it connects Caspian maritime flows with northern Iran’s agricultural, industrial, warehousing, and inland transport systems. Its importance comes from being more than a local port: it is a gateway for Caspian imports, exports, and corridor-based logistics, especially where cargo needs to move between northern sea routes and Iran’s domestic market.
